Lithium batteries

Lithium is becoming increasingly popular — Anda-Olsen supplies lithium and solutions depending on the application.

We have a range of lead substitutes that have similar dimensions but with much greater capacity and power. We supply lithium under our own brand name Anda LiFePo4 100 Ah (heat and display), 100 Ah (Bluetooth, heat, and canbus), as well as 200 Ah (Bluetooth, heat, and canbus).

Lithium-ion batteries have several advantages compared to traditional lead-acid batteries. The benefits include:

Lithium batteries have a high energy density, meaning they can store a lot of energy in relation to their physical size and weight. This makes them particularly suitable for use in portable devices such as mobile phones and tablets, as well as electric vehicles where space and weight are limitations.

Lithium batteries have a long lifespan and can last for several years even under frequent use. They can also withstand more charge and discharge cycles than other types of batteries, which increases their lifespan.

Lithium batteries have a low self-discharge rate, meaning they maintain their charge longer than other types of batteries when not in use. This is particularly useful for devices that are not used often but are expected to be ready for use when needed.

Lithium batteries are often very small and lightweight, making them suitable for use in portable devices and electric vehicles. This provides flexibility and design possibilities and allows to reduce the overall weight of the device.

Lithium batteries retain their performance better than other types of batteries when the temperature is low. This makes them particularly suitable for use in cold environments or in devices that are used outdoors.

Lithium batteries do not have a memory effect, meaning they do not lose capacity as a result of being charged before they are fully discharged. This makes them easy to use and allows for charging the battery whenever it is convenient without worrying about losing capacity.

Lithium batteries can be recycled and reused and they do not contain harmful chemicals that can harm the environment. This makes them a more sustainable choice compared to other types of batteries.
