Special batteries

"The battery packs consist of alkaline cells assembles according to the customer's technical requirements. The batteries can be delivered with an ingress protection rating up to IP67"

Some of our special batteries are used in floating installations along the entire Norwegian coast — we call them buoy batteries.

The installations shall ensure all transport at sea and ensure accessibility and efficient navigation. These are alkaline battery packs developed for use in light signals to assist navigation. The batteries are often referred to as "primary batteries" — a type of disposable batteries that cannot be recharged and must be recycled after their lifetime.

The battery packs consist of alkaline cells assembles according to the customer's technical requirements. The batteries can be delivered with an ingress protection rating up to IP67 and can be supplied with different types of connections. The batteries can be equipped with both carrying handles such as straps or stainless steel carrying handles, and are design to withstand a marine and corrosive environment.
