NextEnergy NXE
The latest generation of transformer-free UPS. Designed to meet tomorrow's energy needs.
Can secure a load from 250kW to 800kW, and up to 8 units can be connected together to secure a load of up to a full 6.4MW.
A modern monolithic UPS
NextEnergy NXE features integrated IGBT (Insulated Gate Bipolar Transistor) transistor technology, which contributes to a versatile and energy-efficient UPS with minimal energy loss during conversion. In contrast to transformer-based UPSs, a transistor-based UPS will have the following advantages:
- reduced size and weight
- higher efficiency
- requires less cooling
- produces less noise
- more cost-effective in purchase and operation
A single unit can secure a load from 250kW to 800kW, and up to 8 units can be connected together to secure a load of up to a full 6.4MW.
Placement- and service-friendly
This UPS series draws air in at the front of the cabinet and ventilates it out through the top of the cabinet. This eliminates the need for space from the wall and significantly reduces the footprint compared to alternatives.
Full access to the UPS is also available from the front of the cabinet, making service easier.
User access is divided into 3 levels to prevent unintended access to critical parameters in the system.
- Users
- Technicians
- Service engineers
Flexible Energy Storage
More and more applications require the use of lithium batteries. NXE has an advanced BMS (Battery Management System) that is compatible with lithium batteries from several suppliers.
Riello Smart Battery Management reduces ripple current, which can degrade battery life. The system achieves this by "isolating" the battery from the UPS when power supply is available.
The UPS can, of course, also be used with other battery types such as VRLA, AGM, GEL, and NiCd.
