Anda Hybrid
Optimised energy production
The main purpose of Anda-Olsen's hybrid solutions is to provide optimised energy production. Wherever generators are used, the goal is to allow them to operate at optimal loads once they are running, and to run on battery power as much as practically possible. When the local mains power is at limited capacity, an Anda Hybrid solution can handle power peaks.
We have delivered over three thousand self-manufactured UPS systems for use in the maritime and offshore industries. In many cases, the challenges are the same on a ship, as they placed in a closed facility at sea; only the absolute minimum of space is available for technical equipment. Our solutions are space-efficient and can be provided in a completed form with distribution circuits.
Our UPS and battery solutions meet the need for reliable power and the need for backup power. We provide applications for several different industries such as the aquaculture industry, the construction and development sector, as well as structures and facilities in areas without direct access to power, such as tourist cottages or leisure homes.

Charging bank
Charging banks for electric workboats are provided in container solutions. If it is necessary to quickly charge electric workboats, and mains power (or generator) capacity is limited, a charging bank may allow you to charge workboats with an output of up to 150 kW.
Example of different power outputs of 800kw from battery in:
- 5min (DOD* of 80%): will require a battery bank of 100kwh with a 10C* discharge rate.
- 60min (DOD* of 80%): will require a battery bank of 1000kwh with a 1C* discharge rate.
- 60min (DOD* of 80%): will require a battery bank of 2000kwh with a 0.5C* discharge rate.
*DOD = Depth of Discharge, which indicates how big a share of the power bank is used in practice
*C-rate = Discharge/ charge rate. 1C discharge means that a 100-kWh battery will be able to output 100kW.
